Some VNCers have asked about the setup I came up with...so here it is. Hope
it is not to long or cheezy for anyone.

Problem:
4 different cameras at a remote warehouse site have to be
viewed/monitored from a corporate location without spending a jillion
dollars and allowing multiple personnel to use this system without extra
cost.

Background:
T-1 connecting the two locations carrying PBX analog extensions and
18 data channels. Bandwidth is at a premium b/c of legacy database software.
Price is a big concern b/c this is not a mission-critical problem.

MY Solution:
	____
 Four ____
Camer-____ >> Channel Modulator >> VOODOO 3** >> VNC
as	____	(combines the camera TV Tuner viewer
signal into TV signal Card w/ from
		and coax output) WinTV remote
					     software	site
					to change cameras

				** Built on a P150 w/64 mg ram

Issues:
Frame rate is still slow. 2-5 delay in refresh rate. This is OK, but
I would love to see it better.
Only one active person can change the channels(cameras.)
Not a very "professional" solution..I think that someone could
develop this concept into something less "
"rigged."
What about Blk/wht screens only? Would this speed things or maybe
running the server on a LINUX box?
