Does anyone know what would be causing this failure on a Sun computer
running Solaris 7?

_XSERVTransSocketCreateListener: failed to bind listener
_XSERVTransSocketUNIXCreateListener: ...SocketCreateListener() failed
_XSERVTransMakeAllCOTSServerListeners: failed to create listener for local

Fatal server error:
Failed to establish all listening sockets
xrdb: Interrupted system call
xrdb: Can't open display 'moose:1'
xsetroot: unable to open display 'moose:1'
toolwait: Couldn't open display: moose:1
Trying to start xterm anyway.
xterm Xt error: Can't open display: moose:1

I compiled vnc without any trouble. Apparently something is not vnc-ready
on this system, but I'm certainly no expert and I can't figure out what to
do next.

TIA!

Mike
