Problems displaying X through VNC

Folks,

I am having problems displaying X graphics across VNC. VNC client an
server are both running on Windows NT 4.0 (client is SP 5, server SP4). I
have tested with both Reflection X and Exceed. If I log into the server,
start X, then display an application like "xclock" back, the xclock
application comes up as a white box. If I drag the mouse around the box,
the graphics are revealed. If I move the xclock window or request a screen
update an everything displays fine. (But I assume that the xclock updates
will not be displayed until a refresh is requested.)

So my question is, is this a known problem? Are there any work arounds? I
have a demo later on today with a co-worker off site and I would like him to
use VNC to see the demo.

Thanks,
Eric
