VNC seems to be unreliable connecting to a win9x machine which
is using a dialup(ie slow) line.  The symptom is that the initial
screen downloads for a while, then stalls, then disconnects.  

Sometimes it actually get all the way finished and works for a while.

Any info about the nature of the problem, workarounds, etc?
