Hi,
I've got the latest version of IE4, not IE5. I looked on the VNC
web site,
and they said IE4 works well. I am accessing the correct machine
"domain.com:5800". I get the java client, and I have tried entering my
password multiple times... I've also hit refresh multiple times... I still
get the same error "java.net.NoRouteToHostException: Host unreachable".
Could this be because the client is inside a firewall? I don't see why it
should, I can get to ports 5800 and 5900 via HTTP.

Have you got the right address? Like, if the host number is 0 then the
address
is "http://hostname:5800" without the quotes. Incidently, if you've got the
latest version of MS' VM you'll get a java.lang.ArrayOutOfBoundsException
the
first time in, every time after entering the password and clicking OK. Hit
Refresh and retype the password, press OK and you in business.

I have VNC installed on one NT server and some Win98 and Win95 pc's. I can
access them just fine via the VNC Client over the LAN. However, when I
access them via the web... the Java Client loads, I enter my password...
then the screen turns gray with this error:
"java.net.NoRouteToHostException: Host unreachable" - W/O quotes. Any
suggestions? I am accessing it through IE 4 sp2.
