Error 111

I recently installed VNC on a Linux box (named Linux),
everything seems to be configured correctly.  When I
start vncserver, everything appears normal (at least I
think it's normal), but when I look in Linux:1.log, I'm
getting Error 111.  It appears to be complaining about
fonts or font directories.  When I run vncviewer from
my W95 box, I get "Cannot connect to server".  Can
someone shed some light on this error?
