using vnc with MS Proxy server

Alan,
You are probably thinking of the Reverse Host feature of MSProxy2 (*won't*
work on MSProxy1). Anyway, the gist of it follows: (assumes working
knowledge of MSProxy and working connectivity aside from the proxy part)
- Install MSProxy client software on client PC.
- You will need a WSPCFG.INI for the VNC client placed in the same directory
as the VNC client executable. This allows the client to "remote bind" and
causes the proxy server to listen on a particular port or group of ports and
pass those requests inbound to your client PC. This implies that you can
only reverse host one instance of a particular port per external IP address
on the proxy server.
See articles Q181420 and Q177153 in the MS Knowledge base for more info and
examples of this config.
regards,
eric
