Running ldd on my Slackware Linux gives:

purdy:~$ ldd /usr/local/bin/vncviewer
	libXext.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXext.so.6 (0x4000a000)
	libX11.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.so.6 (0x40013000)
	libc.so.5 => /lib/libc.so.5 (0x40090000)

maybe you have both libc5 and the new glibs (aka libc6) installed?

Well, there's some good news here - following the success of WordPerfect 8
for Linux, Corel will eventually port Draw to Linux.
