Hi,
Just joined the list so forgive me if I tell you what you already know.
What we're doing here is exactly what you're talking about for another purpose,
and the scaling problem occurs only when the ratio of change/clients goes above
a critical threshold. We're working on getting a handle on what that threshold
is, but an immediate solution is to make a seperate thread of execution
responsible for each client connection. We're also working on implementing that
for our own use, we'll glady hand the mods back to whoever is interested...

Subject: examples of large scale use of VNC
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with a 'many to one'
experience with VNC. What we would like to do is have a person do a
presentation via powerpoint, and have multiple users access the
presenters machine via VNC. The 'audience' would have view only
capability.
Are there any limitations folks are aware of? Has anyone done this?
