Error connecting to VNC X server...

I'm trying to connect to the VNC server running on my Unix machine. If I use
the vncviewer, no problem... But if I try to connect via the browser, I get
the error HTML page "File not found" and in the log on the server I see:

10/03/99 20:41:44 httpd: get '' for machinename
10/03/99 20:41:44 httpd: defaulting to 'index.vnc'
10/03/99 20:41:44 httpProcessInput: open: No such file or directory

Any ideas? Thanks...
