* Well that is what i don't understand!

* We where previously under 6.2, we have made the upgrade to 6.5 and now i
* can t
* compile VNC anymore...
Why re-compile (unless you've moved all your machines to 6.5). Compiling on 6.2
(with -mips3 -n32) will run on 6.5 with no problem. Once you build on 6.5 it
will not run on anything except 6.5.x. All the freeware sgi ship
(http://freeware.sgi.com/) is all built on 6.2.
*
* I ve try to resintall the distrib that i succed to compile 2 month ago
* but the errors still remains...
*
* by the way your mail in the archive about "SGI build patches" reffers to
* a command called "./vncxmkmf"
* is it an old thing that doesn't exist anymore or am i missing something
* ?
That mail is for an old 3.3.1 (?) version, before VNC moved to use Xfree86
build. I never upgraded as I use it infrequently and at the time had no spare
time.
I have heard tha other people have managed to get it working, if anyone has a
binary distrib, then I don't mind hosting on my website to cut down their
bandwidth charges.

* Many thanks for your response
