i just had to do this. when i opened the vnc tarball there was a README
file, and it tells you how to do this. If you are getting a "FILE NOT
FOUND" instead of a v desktop when you go to the linbox:portno then you
probably haven't set the javaclasspath variable in the vncserver script.
at least that's what i forgot to do. I am not sure if that is the exact
variable name, but it's not too hard to figure out which one it is.
just set it to whatever directory contains all the .class files and you
should be golden ;)
