Yes, that's what HP-UX's stupid old /usr/bin/patch says.  I told you to use
GNU patch, didn't I :-) ?  If you can't find it in

   /opt/gnu/bin/patch	       or
   /usr/local/bin/patch	       or
   /opt/patch/bin/patch

then possibly get it from either www.gnu.org or from

   http://hpux.csc.liv.ac.uk/hppd/hpux/Sysadmin/patch-2.5/

This URL even offers you a version pre-compiled for HP-UX 10.

Anyway, I've attached a gzip'ed context diff version of the ukd-kh-hpux
patch.  Your /usr/bin/patch will understand that.  E.g.:

   /usr/contrib/bin/gzcat ../vnc*patch_c.gz | patch -p1

The hpux_specific patch is so small that should just apply it by hand, or
ignore it completely.  It's very likely that you want to make other
modifications to the vncserver script anyway.  My version has the problem
that the CDE "Exit" button doesn't work: it blinks, but CDE doesn't exit.  So
I've used a manual kill(1) instead to exit.  If/when you're going to use VNC
on HP-UX for more than just a few simple tests, you should invest a bit more
time in finding a solution to this "Exit" problem.  Just searching the VNC
mailing list may provide the answer.  Otherwise find a CDE guru.
