I tested 800x600x256 with a modified compile of VNC which gave me
bandwidth statitics and I found that 20K/s is what normal usage uses up.
Just moving the mouse around used 10K/s. This is a hard question to
answer as it depends on what program you are using.

I can not tell the difference between a P133 and a PII450.

If you disconnect, yes it keeps writing the CD. VNC makes it seem like
you are at the VNCservers keyboard and monitor. Disconnecting is the
same as getting up and walking away from the server in that the computer
keeps running even though you are not sitting in front of it.
