brand new user

As a brand new user of Linux RH 5.x and VNC,  I haven't found very much
help for
VNC in the way of 'very basic questions' ,so I need to ask a few
questions here to get some help.  Running vncviewer in my Linux/KDE box
and vncserver on my Win95 box,  I can see the Win screeen perfectly,
but... in the reverse configuration [
vncviewer on the Win and vncserver on the Linux box] I can't see my KDE
running when I'm on the Win95 box.   I get the TWM version of X showing
up there.[which I didn't even know was on my system... new user here,
sorry]
Can someone explain how I can get my KDE desktop to show?
