black screen with Win98 ?

I do have some more info: it seems as though Netscape *is* the culprit.
I was runnign VNC froim a machine right next to the windows machine(which
is the server) Right when I started netscape, screen updates to the
netscape window stopped, and the icon did not appear on the task bar.
Almost as if VNC is not getting updates from anything having to do with
netscape. Mouse still works, but you can't really see anything. If you
restart the client, it is black because it is not gettign any info.
