connection problem

Thanks for that Bill, but i don't think that is what i happening. If the
screensaver changed resolution, i cant see i would be disconnected when i
logged in, but then the screen saver wouldn't be active, so the next time i
log in i should get through - my problems is that i always get the connection
closed message.
Any other ideas?
