This is an error in the documentation. Sorry.

The viewer needs 1.1.1, the server needs 1.1.3. The server uses some bits
of OpenTransport that were very buggy in 1.1.1 but were fixed in 1.1.3.  
The confusion arrises because 1.1.3 was never actually released but came
as part of a system upgrade (I think). I had a look at the Apple site but
cannot find any details on which upgrader you'll need. Basically you want
the most recent version of OT you can get your hands on. Later ones will
have more bug fixes and will work more efficiently.
