1. I have Xvnc server running successfully on my Linux PC with 2.0.35
kernel. I successfully use a Windows 95 IE3.02 browser as viewer. However,
when I then run Netscape Communicator 4 on the Linux PC and attempt to view
the 'local' Xvnc display with "http://localhost:580d" (where d is the
display #), I lose the connection on the Windows 95 IE3.02 browser (screen
grays out and there is a Java error message), but can view the same Xvnc
server fine on the Netscape Communicator on my Linux PC. I thought Xvnc
allows multiple clients to view the same server.

2. I had previously posted this following message, but it occurred on the
day of the Happy 99 virus, and maybe was overlooked. Please allow me to do
a quick repost.
Viewing Xvnc server on my Linux PC from a Windows 95 IE3.02 browser works
quite well. But when I move any window (e.g. the xterm window) in the
browser, there is very slow screen repaint. First the title bar seems to
get repainted one square region at a time (top to bottom of the title bar),
starting on the leftmost side of the title bar and continuing left to right
until the entire title bar is SLOWLY repainted. Then the entire window gets
repainted relatively quickly. I wonder if it is because my network
connection is not at the rated 10 Mbps. Does anyone have a similar
experience?

Thanks so much.
