Cut and Paste problem

To extend the plea for cut'nPaste:

I have used VNC from time to time (Mac 840av to Linux box) and it is
interesting, but my 'Unix window of choice' on the Mac is NCSA Telnet 2.7b4.

Telnet is not X windows of course, but I spend most of my time editing code
and the NCSA Telnet features list (full cut&paste, Print Selection, and
imbedded ftp server) keeps me stuck on NCSA Telnet.

The NCSA Telnet code is public domain - I would find VNC quite compelling
if those features would find their way into VNC.
