I'm not sure what causes this.  There seems to be a race-condition, caused
because when you log out, WinVNC sees the screen resolution change, kicks
off all users and thus logs you out again, since all the remote users have
gone!

I have a patched build of the executable which might fix the problem because
it calls ExitWindowsEx instead of ExitWindows(the old version.)

I could send you a copy of that to try, if you like.
