troubleshoot 2 win95 machines networked

Setting TCP/IP as default protocol on both machines did the trick. I 
now get a please enter password requester.

It doesn't seem to accept the password though. I enter the 
password and it says vnc authentication failed. Is the password 
supposed to be a certain length or only composed of certain 
characters?
