Subject: Win vnc crashes applications on server
hi,
I'm running a win-vnc server (3.3.2 R6 ) on a NT4.0 Server SP3
When remoting ( from an NT Workstation ), some applications running on the
server will "crash" with a access violation error. This shows as a dialog
box describing the error. The actual application, however, is still running
and fully operational. That is, until I click the OK button in the error
dialog. The application will then stop.
The error messages indicates some access violation in the running
application ( not the server ). It most often happens when I start the
application, and after a few tries it normally will run fine. The
application will not "crash" when I am not connected via VNC ( it starts
automatically every hour )
All crashing applications are build with Borland Delphi 4.0. I have not seen
any other application on the server crash this way.

I think an effect similar to this was seen with some other Borland-compiled
programs and it turned out to be a faulty run-time on their part.
Are the apps you've built and seen crash 16-bit?
Cheers,
