VNC & Trumpet Winsock on Win95

Hello all,

Tried running VNC Viewer on a Win95 machine running trumpet winsock 4.0
but to no avail. It runs flawlessly with Windows Winsock 2.0 installed and
no trumpet.

First got "Socket inialisation failure" when trying to start the program.

I fixed that by putting the winsock.dll and wsock32.dll files from
(windows) winsock 2.0 into the same directory as the VNCviewer executable.
I was then able to get to the "connect to:" dialog box, but after typing in
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:0 I get nothing - the box disappears and the process
remains in the process list until I "End Task" it.

If I try and start the Viewer again, same thing - whether or not I have
already ended the previous task.

Searched the archievs and FAQ for this one but couldn't find the answer, I
appreciate any help in getting this to work.
