Josh, Try:

c:\progra~1\orl\vnc\winvnc -remove
c:\progra~1\orl\vnc\winvnc

Just did it as I write this.

Just today, I decided I wanted to have the taskbar icon (to give an
indication that someone was connected) and realized that I actually can't
make a taskbar icon appear. I've tried running the executable by double
clicking it, I've tried not running it initially in the StartUp, I've tried
completely un and reinstalling it (I even deleted any registry entries I
could find.) The other interesting thing is that other programs (War-FTP)
can and do create the taskbar icon.
