Corrupted file?

I tried to download the file 'vnczlib.diff.gz', which is at url
'http://www.orl.co.uk/vnc/archives/1998-08/bin0a002ug', but gunzip tells
me that the file has a crc error. This is the differences file attached
to Dave DeBarr's message of 04 Aug 1998 about VNC Compression.

Would it be possible to check whether the file is actually corrupted in
the archive or not, and if it is, to put back a correct file? I don't
know whether I should ask the people from ORL or Dave DeBarr himself to
please do this.

I'm trying to see whether I can put compression in the Windows 95/NT
version of VNC, and I'd like to make it compatible with Dave's version.
Of course, if I succeed I'll make the compressing version available.

Thanks in advance,
