x2vnc or nvc problem

I am running x2vnc connecting to a vncviewer running on a windows NT box.  The
server is version 3_3_2r2.

This is my first extensive use of vnc - by which I mean I run it all day long.

When I am not using the keyboard but I am actively using the mouse the screen
saver activates.  For example reading a long document in my web browser.
