Howdy all,

I don't know whether this has already been noticed/mentioned, but I found
that in the windows version 3.3.2r2 (the latest windows version) doing:

winvnc -install

adds the following to the registry:
(this is in regedit 4 format)

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices]
"WinVNC"="\"C:\\PROGRAM FILES\\ORL\\VNC\\WINVNC.EXE\" -service"

but to actually run as a service, and not be visible in the taskbar, or in
the close programs dialog box requires this setting:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices]
"WinVNC"="C:\\PROGRAM FILES\\ORL\\VNC\\WINVNC.EXE -service"

The only difference here is the '-install' option adds two to many quote
(") characters .

Had this been noticed before?

David.

P.S. This program is GREAT!
