I've put up a test version of the VNC viewer for DOS (binaries only;
will upload source code soon, after I've made sure that it can all
be compiled from scratch including the libraries) at the following
location:

  http://www.complang.tuwien.ac.at/nino/dosvnc.html

The archive (450KB) contains the binary, which is only 250KB thanks
to the simple protocol and well-written libraries, a few utilities
you might need, and some documents with instructions. Please let
me know if you encounter severe problems (I know that the keyboard
support isn't quite finished yet...) or if you find it useful.
Keep watching that URL for updates in the next few days, I'm not
going to post every change to the mailing list.

Don't bother with downloading the zip archive if you don't have
at least a 386+ computer, an ethernet card with a packet driver
(some of these drivers can be downloaded at no cost) and
graphics hardware that supports at least 8bpp modes at useful
resolutions. Oh, and you probably need the Unix version of the VNC
server, since I've never tried the other servers.

Regards,
Marinos
PS. Does anyone think that "dosvnc" is misleading in that it imples
the existence of a DOS VNC server?
