I installed vnc (the latest version) on rh5.1 and had no problem for =
linux to see win95 but the problem is under w95 when I tried to use =
vncviewer to see linux I could not make it work. Under linux I used =
vncviewer and got something like=20
"New 'X' desktop is linux.uic.edu:1" (I already gave a password for the =
server), then if I went to w95 and try "vncviewer ipaddress of the linux =
machine:1" and got message:"failed to connect the server", I did not =
even get the chance to type in the password. If I tried linux.uic.edu =
then I got the message: "Did you type in the host name correctly?", =
either way I could not get to X windows from w95, could anyone out there =
help me out?
