Help - I've lost my mouse!

Hi there

After some time of happily VNC'ing away, with WinVNC 3.3.2R5 server and
vncviewer 3.3.2 R2 on SuSe 5.3 Linux under KDE 1.0, I have suddenly lost
my mouse!

That is, I can move the local spot but the mouse from the Win95 machine
stays stolidly and solidly fixed in a spot.  I was Excelling at the time.

Any clues?

I have also lost local control-Z but I don't think these are connected.
