Where do I stick index.vnc?

I recently downloaded vnc and have the server installed on a i686 redhat
Linux box (5.1) and the viewer is on a Mac 840av. It seems to work ok,
although it is slower than actually being on the Linux console display
(naturally).

I have been trying to view the file index.vnc which is supposed to show
when I put http://mysystem:5802/ into my Netscape location slot. It
returns 'File Not Found' and there is an appropriate notation in the
/.vnc/logs/mysystem:2.log file, but nothing in the httpd/logs/error_log.

My question: Where do I put index.vnc so it can be seen?
above .vnc/ ?
in httpd/html/ ?
in .vnc/ ?

I know I need to open up the permissions so that 'nobody' can read the files.

Thanks much for any clues.
