WinVnc Question on "LockSetting"

>From what I read on the web page, there is a Registry setting that can be
changed with a Key value of "LockSetting".
According to the doc page, setting this value to 2 will log off the
workstation on exit....
I was thinking of running VNC on an NT server for remote administration,
and this would be nice if it would automatically log me out of the server
anytime the VNC connection would drop. Is this how it works?
Also, one application running on the server is the "Enabler Database" for
Artisan Software.... When I do a Shutdown->Close all programs, it pops
up a dialog box telling me that if I am shutting down I should stop the
enabler service first, but if I'm only doing a "close all programs" it's
okay to continue. I have to hit OK on this dialog before it logs out the
server.
Will the "LockSetting" method of logging out be able to deal with this?
Many thanks for any input.
