Server won't set

Sorry if this is an FAQ, but I'm new here!

I've just tried setting up a Mac server on a G3/266 running System 8.1 and
OT 1.3., but can't get the Web 'settings' page to install any settings on
the server. The beachball cursor just spins forever. Any tips?

Also, unless I'm blind, there is nothing I can find in the docs or FAQs
about what is meant by 'display number' and 'desktop name'. I assume the
latter is arbitrary.. like 'dpr's G3', but what is the 'display number'? Is
it entered as a figure or as a word? Does it default to zero?

These may seem daft questions, but it isn't exactly clear.. at least to me!
