Sorry to burst your bubble, but you're dead wrong.

'push' as understood in browser terms is exactly as
Alan says. Maybe you're labouring under the impression that
there is some technical truth to the term as used by
MS, but there isn't. Or maybe you're talking about another
company (less market driven :-)
