I don't think you can use :0. It is the number used by an X server running
on the console. Try :1.

Subject: need help with RedHat Version 5.2 and vncserver

Hi,

I installed vnc on RedHat version 5.2 (the new one), and ran vncserver
:0. I got these error messages:

[root "at" homepack vnc]# vncserver :0
Prototype mismatch: sub main::__need_size_t vs () at (eval 44) line 1.
String found where operator expected at (eval 148) line 1, near "&__const
'struc
t sockaddr'"
        (Missing operator before 'struct sockaddr'?)

Would anyone know what I need to do? I downloaded the .tgz file for
linux 2.0 from the orl site, and it untarr'd and unzipped just fine. No
errors reported.

thanks,
wade
