error message on RedHat 5.2 fresh install

  I did a fresh install of a RedHat 5.2.  I also did an upgrade to RedHat
5.1 to 5.2.  On the upgrade, vnc installed and worked fine.  On the fresh
install, I get this error message

  Xwindows is working on this machine.  I brought it up with a monitor and
got 1024x768.  Any ideas?
