Hi all,
I've justed installed r5 and indeed as people have reported, it seems to
be quicker. Well done ;)
I mentioned on the list when R2 was released that the ability to connect
to the VNC server BEFORE a user has logged in to win95 was changed, in that R2
required a user to have logged in ONCE at least before it allows a connect.
With R5, the ability to connect to the VNC server while win95 is at the
login prompt seems to be gone altogether. Is this a concious effort to
disable this? From the FAQ..

Q. Can I run the Windows server before anybody has logged in?
You can now! Make sure you have a recent WinVNC and read the section on running WinVNC as a service in the documentation.

This doesn't seem to be the case anymore? Or is it something I'm doing?
regards
titus
