Its more complex than that. You _MUST_ have /tmp/.X11-unix set to sticky
and have a system that supports sticky directories if you do this. On no
account _ever_ do it otherwise. 

See what happens otherwise is I do

cd /tmp/.X11-unix

mv X0 Xfoo
run Xstealauth X0
get your auth keys
mv Xfoo x0

take over your desktop, or snoop it etc.
