The only reason for polling a window is that it doesn't use the standard
Windows messages to redraw itself. The Command-prompt is the most common
window with this problem. Virtually every other window in the standard
Windows system should work pretty well with WinVNC. If no windows update
properly _at all_ then something is broken on your system with regard to
the VNC system hooks. You shouldn't have to set WinVNC to poll the whole
screen - the standard settings _should_ work fine for almost all programs.
