vnc on sunos 4.1.4 with openwindows fonts (ie bldfamily not mkfontdir)

Jim,

I don't know much about NeWS servers, so it may be that they don't use the
same sort of fonts as other X servers.  My normal advice to people who might
have the wrong font path is to got to an X session that is working, type
'xset q', and then use the font path reported there in your vncserver
script.

If that still doesn't work, then the easiest thing is probably to get a copy
of a standard X server, and use the fonts from that.
