Hi,
I have a problem with WinVNC 3.3.2 Installed on NT Server 4.0 SP3.
When I connect from a Win95 client (MSIE 4.0 or Netscape 3.0) with
http://MyServerName:5800/ I get a useless applet back (tiny size). See
source of document....
<HTML><TITLE>VNC desktop</TITLE>
<APPLET CODE=vncviewer.class ARCHIVE=vncviewer.jar WIDTH=0 HEIGHT=32>
<param name=PORT value=5900></APPLET></HTML>
However, when I connect from the server console using MSIE there is no
problem. Obviously I cannot log on for loopback reasons, but the HTML
page dispensed to the client is correct!
<HTML><TITLE>VNC desktop</TITLE>
<APPLET CODE=vncviewer.class ARCHIVE=vncviewer.jar WIDTH=800 HEIGHT=632>
<param name=PORT value=5900></APPLET></HTML>
Has anybody experienced this problem??
My client and Server are on different (but trusted) NT domains. Does
this cause a problem as I cannot seem to get a stable connection with
the windows viewer. It asks for VNC authentication and then just
disappears.
Thanks for any advice.
