Hi Terrence

If I get your problem right...:

Ctrl-Alt-Delete: A normal program (like vncviewer) can not trap a c-a-d =
(would be necessary for sending it to the remote host). This is not a =
restriction - a least not one imposed by stupidity of MS engineers. The =
purpose is, that there is a safe way to reach the OS (e.g. the Task =
Manager) - no matter how the (eventually malicious) program behaves.

If you have the latest version of VNC, you will find in the System Menue =
(left mouse click ONCE the upper left corner of your Vncviewer window) =
the entry "Send Ctrl-Alt-Del". That should do. For further information: =
Please Read The . Manual. :-)

btw: QUESTION: Isn't there such an option in the Unix viewer, too?

cu
Oliver

    Sorry for the repost.
    =20
I have vnc running as a service on my nt40 server. I reboot the =
server and the computer boots up to the login prompt screen. I then =
view the server from my workstation and there is the 'ctrl-alt-del' =
screen. On my workstation I press 'ctrl-alt'-del' and my workstation =
recieves the key board not the 'viewed' server.
    =20
I want to be able to log into the server from remote and take =
action.
    =20
    Thanks,
    Terrence
