ctrl-alt-del from java client?

It sounds like you're running an old version of the VNC server.  The
latest version is 3.3.2.  The Ctrl-Alt-Del button is a recent addition.

I'm not sure you can.  The java client is packaged with the servers, so it
will match the version of server you're using.
