separate password for viewonly?

Beg your pardon of this has been asked before, but if
vnc implemented separate read-write and read-only passwords,
then vnc would be equivalent to an X multiplexor.

Another idea would be for a connection attempt w/o a password
to cause a popup to appear in Xvnc, offering
    allow r/o shared | deny access
or some such.
