I have have experienced the same behavior with my colleages. I showed
them
the functionality of vnc, even let them log on to my workstation to show
he performance (with keyb/mouse disabled).
The first reaction was "cool tool and it is really crossplatform?". But
the second reaction was :" Yeah right, so everyone can watch what I do"
I really had a hard time convincing them of how usefull vnc actually is.

I also think vnc should ave a feature like "Collaboration ON/OFF", which
controls which is whether remote users can log on. Just having the local
user override remote user actions is IMHO not enough, though usefull for
helpdesk purposes. Thats why is should be switchable.

Also you should consider login/password encryption proceedures. This is
much preferable to having vnc be run through sshd to be secure.
Especially because IMHO sshd is not a real option with NT.

Also if you have a "Collaboration ON/OFF", you should also be able to
have a Master Password, which can override this switch.

So I guess this is enough of ideas, because since I am not a software
developer and my skills in programming languages a rather theoretical.

Thanx,
Niels Hansa
