I chap here at ORL has tested the Mac Viewer over such a link and says
it's usable

Its quite hard to say. I've found I've been able to use quite a lot of
code from the Windows server and so far we have remote mouse and keyboard
control and full screen raw pixel display. 

Put it this way, I certainly hope to have it finished by September 25th,
it may well be sooner.
