Very new to vnc

I don't know if this is the correct way, but I do the following...

In the user directory where I am starting up VNC, I edit the "xstartup" file
located in the hidden directory ".vnc" as follows...

/home/psc59782/.vnc/xstartup

Chage the following line...

	twm &

to

	#twm &
	startkde &
