Mac viewer clipboard use?

I've been using the mac viewer on an off for a few weeks now... MUCH nicer
than trying to use the Java viewer, I must say.

One problem I've found when trying to connect to an X server:  I can't use
the clipboard!  It definitely works OK from a windows viewer, or an X-based
viewer, but not from the Mac version.  (Not even entirely within X... i.e.,
select text with mouse button 1, try to paste with button 2, get beep.)

If it matters, this is on a Power Computing Power Tower Pro, running MacOS
8.1.  

Incidentally, will there ever be support in any of the viewers for setting
the key in the upper righthand corner of the main keyboard to the One True
Delete?  (ie, i'd like to be able to swap backspace and delete)

At any rate, thanks to all concerned for a great piece of software!
