tilda (~) and "`" not displayed

Salut!

Yves, are they displayed on the Win95 machine when you type into other 
applications, a MS_DOS window, or Word for example?

I have been using the same setup, Win95 to Solaris, and I don't recall having 
this problem...(I'm sure I must have used tilde)
